"The Boy Who Changed The World" By Andy Andrews

The Boy Who Changed the World by Andy Andrews is a great book for children of all ages. The book is about four boys and how each one has their own story. But each story relates to another one in the book and they all correlate to each other in some way. Because each of these boys made a decision an it impacted another and then another, it ended making a difference in two billions peoples lives. The book teaches children that the decisions that the make can change the world and influence other people. It teaches children that if they have a dream or a goal then they need to follow it because it make a difference in their life and maybe the life of another person. I thought that this was a great book and I would buy it as a gift for people and their children. "A Time To Dance" By Karen Kingsbury

The book is about a couple named John and Abby and she believes that their is infidelity in their marriage. This was my first Karen Kingsbury novel and I loved it.
This was a great book from the moment it started. It makes you realize how important it is to always incorporate God in your marriage. You cannot keep living in the past and bringing up old problems, but work together and put your trust in God. This would be a great book to give to couples that you know might be having problems or going through a similar one to the story of this book. "Who Is In Charge Anyway?" by Max Lucado

This is a great Children's Video by Max Lucado telling the story of Freddie the flea and he is wondering what his purpose it. This has a great message for kids and had wonderful biblical references. It explains how everyone has a purpose and God made each of us special. It explains that even though you think you have a flaw or a bad trait, it is not by accident. God did not make any mistakes in creating each one of us. It also shows children how easy that they can talk to God, if they need to. I have never seen "Hermie and Friends" video before and I thought that this was great a cute to watch. I only had a hard time when they flashed back on other charaters because I was not familiar with them. It was still easy to follow and I would watch another one in this series. I cannot wait to share it with my kids at Chruch that I teach and with my 3 year old nephew. "Dear John" By: Nicholas Sparks

I have always been a fan of Nicholas Sparks and I really loved this book. It has your typical "Sparks" love story to it, but it also teaches you a new side to love. This is when a person loves another so much that they are willing to let them go. I would recommend this book for people to read.

I also saw the movie for the first time two days ago. Of Course, there are parts of it that are different from the book or it left parts of the book out. Overall, it was a fairly good movie. They added something to the end of the movie that was not in the book and I really did not like that. The way the book ended made you look at love differenty, but still in a good way. The movie, of course, had to end like your typical chick flick. I know I am not giving too much detail, but I don't want to spoil it for those who have not seen it.

Book Reviews

So I decided to start a blog for book reviews. This is only because I do love to read and I would like to share with everyone the books that I have read and what they are about. If you already think that I don't write in my other blog enough, definitely do not expect a once a week from this one either. It will be more like once a month or every two months. With my busy life I try to fit in reading as much as I can. We will see how it goes... Oh and let me say one more thing. Just because I like to read all the time, does not mean that I have great grammar...
